Hampton Public School continues to look for ways to provide wellness opportunities for our students, staff, and families.  During the last week of October, students and staff celebrated Red Ribbon Week.  Thank you to the student council for organizing multiple activities around the theme “Drug-Free Looks Like Me”.

Patrons are encouraged to use the Community Fitness Center to promote their personal wellness.  An annual membership fee of $100 allows Hawk families access to the fitness center as well as the gymnasium and indoor walking track.

Cris Rodriguez, a certified Licensed Mental Health Practitioner from ESU #9 in Hastings, is in Hampton on Tuesdays and Wednesdays to assist with mental wellness.  A release form must be signed by students and families who are interested in her services.  Please contact Mrs. Ediger in the guidance office for more information.

In the event school needs to be canceled due to weather and for the wellness of our students, staff & community, the administration will activate the mass notification system. School closing information will also be given to NTV channel 13, KHAS channel 5, KOLN/KGIN channel 10/11, KLKN channel 8, and it will be posted on the HPS app, the school homepage, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Please remember breakfast will not be served on days we have a late (10 AM) start.
