Holly Herzberg - Superintendent and Director of Assessment

During the February meeting, the School Board approved the annual local report.  Schools are required to provide a detailed local report to their patrons and families as part of Rule 10. You will find many interesting pieces of data in the local report including student academic performance, demographics, school improvement goals, and financial information.  The local report can be viewed on the school homepage under the School Board tab or by using this link

Much of the student performance data included in the local report is conducted in the spring of the school year.  With the arrival of March, we begin to gear up for the spring assessment season.  On March 21st, our juniors will have the opportunity to take the ACT, while our sophomores take the PreACT.  It is very important that all juniors and sophomores are present on March 21st.  If you have a junior or sophomore, please look for more information regarding their March 21st assessment schedule in the mail the first week of March.  The remainder of the students in grades K-11, will take either NSCAS (Nebraska Student-Centered Assessment System) or MAP (Measures of Academic Progress) Growth assessments starting in April.  A detailed schedule will be sent home with elementary students and shared electronically as soon as the dates/times are finalized.

Please feel free to reach out if you have more questions regarding the annual local report or any of the Spring assessments.  Thank you!
